I was born and bred in Neath, South Wales.
I’ve lived in Penparcau for 27 years with my two children. I work for Skatkraft in the Rheidol valley.
I trains the youth rugby team and the rowing team. I take part in the Celtic Challenge a bi-annual rowing event from Ireland to Aberystwyth to raise money for charity.
I was appointed a town councillor in 2008 for Penparcau, and again in 2012 and it is an honour to represent the ward. In 2012, I was also appointed one of the County Councillors for the ward.
I believe we must invest in our young people and initiatives such as the Adizone and the boxing club will give them some focus and improve confidence. I work with young people training the youth rugby team and rowing club.
Penparcau is a good place to live, but councillors must provide the support for people who are having difficulties in getting services.
